LTTR #3 - PRACTICE MORE FAILURE

In LTTR #3, Practice More Failure, the selected works emphasize process and practice over product. We arrived at a seemingly traditional form, using a screenprinted manila envelope as both its binding and storage pouch. Folded in half and tied with a lavender ribbon, the envelope unfolds to reveal a notepad style booklet attached to the lower half. Every fourth page pulls out into a four-panel full color poster. The glued notepad style binding allows readers the option to easily separate pages into individual posters. Stuffed into the top portion of the envelope are a poster project by Carrie Moyer, a fold out instruction pamphlet on how to tie a saree by Jesal Kapadia and a sealed set of IOUs by Michelle Marchese.
